Rendered Co. is a Portland-based custom apparel and branded merchandise company known for its high-quality, sustainably sourced products and thoughtful client service. They serve a wide range of businesses, creatives, and organizations looking for standout custom apparel and merch. The Rendered team came to us seeking a stronger, more differentiated brand voice and a smarter SEO foundation to help them attract and convert the right customers online.

We helped Rendered stand out in a crowded custom apparel space; pairing brand-forward copywriting with smart SEO strategy to drive their strongest organic engagement and visibility to date.

Goal

Rendered’s previous site copy was functional, but lacked the brand-forward language needed to differentiate them in a sea of generic screen printers and merch companies. Their SEO structure and keyword targeting were also under-optimized, limiting their organic visibility for key service categories. The team needed a partner to help them:

  • Define a clear and compelling brand voice and tone.
  • Translate that voice into strategic on-page copywriting.
  • Build an SEO content foundation to drive better visibility, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create a repeatable framework for scaling content and SEO improvements over time.

Strategy

We started by conducting a collaborative brand voice and tone workshop with Rendered, helping the team align on how they wanted to sound and feel online. With this foundation in place, we rewrote key sections of their site to reflect a more brand-forward, human tone, while embedding SEO best practices throughout. We prioritized pages with high opportunity for search visibility, rewriting them with optimized meta titles, descriptions, headers, and body copy designed to both convert and rank.

At the same time, we built a performance reporting loop that allowed us to track improvements in visibility, engagement, and user behavior. This ensured that brand expression and SEO performance worked hand-in-hand. Our focus wasn’t just on ranking; it was on helping the right users find Rendered and experience the brand in a more compelling way.
