This small-but-mighty coffee producer with chill stoner vibes aims to find, roast, and deliver the most delicious coffee out there. Founded by Duane Sorenson of Stumptown Coffee fame, Puff Coffee keeps it simple and exciting with funky branding, experimental blends, and by focusing mostly on what we’re all here for: the damn delicious coffee!
Create a tactile and eclectic website that centers Puff Coffee’s products and showcases their brand art while keeping the user experience at the center of the design. The website also needed to boost traffic, revenue, and brand awareness through effective and concise SEO and copywriting.
Right out of the gate, we knew it was important to Puff Coffee that the new website showcase their brand art, focusing on visual storytelling with “off the beaten path” vibes. To achieve this, we kicked things off with a robust Research & Development phase, where we dove into competitive analysis, typography and color research, and of course, a moodboard!
We leveraged a Shopify template to ensure the user flow through the website would be simple, straightforward, and easy to navigate. This also allowed Puff Coffee’s art and branding to stand out and draw users into the Puff Coffee world. Once we had the template selected, we created a no-frills site map and page manifests to establish structure and content hierarchy. Using a Shopify template as the “bones” of the new website enabled us to pare down production phases that are typically spent building custom design and development elements, making this project highly affordable and incredibly easy for Puff’s team to update themselves. Product packaging and brand voice shine in this visually engaging website that is easy to navigate and centers the brand’s personality and eclectic style.
