We applied a robust discovery process to this project, starting by learning as much as we could about Allium, their approach, their customers, their beliefs, and their aesthetics. After absorbing and digesting all of this information, we worked with their team on moodboards and style references to ensure that we were fully aligned on design direction and inspiration.
We then moved on to create a clean and clarified sitemap, giving Allium’s various user types clear paths for navigating the website, and providing them with the right information and options at the right times. With a sitemap in place, we dove into visual design, developing design structures and motifs that would represent both the warmth and professionalism of Allium Financial. To create a sense of invitation, we paired warm tones with rounded edges, subtle movements, and pleasing animations.
Overall, we wanted Allium’s new website to evoke the feeling of walking into their office, with a warm greeting, a personal touch, and plenty of expertise.
