The story of Ua Body is personal.

Leala’s mother Alice started the company 30 years ago on the Big Island of Hawai'i, grounded in love—love of flowers, Hawai’i, and human beings. She embodied the spirit of Aloha. When she passed, Leala decided to maintain her legacy. She renamed the company Ua Body, which signifies rain in Hawaiian, and reminds us that nature is a powerful healer, and that we, in turn, must nurture and protect the earth. Ua Body’s natural, clean, and vegan skincare products are all handcrafted in small batches in a workshop in Hawai’i. Their promise? High-quality, additive-free formulas consisting of natural and native ingredients that replenish, hydrate, and protect your skin.


Our Goal

Love Adorned approached Good & Gold with the goal of increasing their online sales, communicating their brand values to a digital audience while building their virtual store into a viable complement to their brick-and-mortar locations.

The Strategy

First, we audited the Flora Animalia’s fledgling website to ensure that all technical errors were addressed before launch, and that structured data and internal linking systems were solidly in place. Next, we focused on high-volume but specific search terms, ensuring that keywords were populated throughout the website’s content and metadata. This strategy was geared toward natural organic growth for a new brand, but also positioned the website for massive success once the client’s own public relations efforts began to gain momentum with high-profile coverage in publications like The New York Times and Women’s Wear Daily.
